We have running water!!!

Since the electricity is running our well drillers came back out to set up our pump and we are "well" on our way to being civilized out on the land! haha Such simple things, yet so important. We are very blessed to have such a great piece of land.

Gifts after our shower

My life long friend and bridesmaid in our wedding, Emily, and her husband were at our shower Saturday. But MaryAnn and Louie (Emily's mom and stepdad) were unable to attend because they were moving into their new house. So, we set a breakfast date Sunday to visit and catch up :) Afterwards, we went to check out their new house (which is right down the street from my parent's house). MaryAnn and Louie have done an amazing job remodeling their new home...it looks awesome! They are going to be very happy in China Grove, which Emily and I are excited about because that means our moms will be neighbors.

While getting the tour our their new house, MaryAnn and Louie showed us the stove, oven, and dishwasher that was in the house when they began moving. There is also a stainless steal kitchen sink that they will not be needing. Since they have their own appliances, they told us that we could have the kitchen appliances if we wanted them. Wow! This was so nice of them, we were so excited about this offer and thank you MaryAnn and Louie...this is such a huge help. Shane and I are starting from scratch and so appreciative of MaryAnn and Louie for their generosity.
