We had lunch at the Gristmill with one of my best friends Jenny and her boyfriend Aaron. She now lives in Dallas so we love the chance to catch up...the four of us had a great lunch date :-)

Shane and I had a blast at the Texas Open :) I was lucky to have my favorite golfer as my date to teach me all about the game...this was my first tournament to attend, I'm hooked! Had to take one picture with the beer...it's tradition

Out for Kelly's Graduation

Kelly graduated from college last Saturday so we all got together to celebrate. We met at La Tortallita for dinner, then headed out to Cowboys for some dancing...fun fun! Congratulations Kelly!

After lunch and Shane's aunt and uncle's house we had to stop by the land for some brainstorming. We have a pretty good idea of what we want to build, our next step will be drawing up plans...:)

The Hanging Tree

When I first met Shane I thought he had to be too good to be true. Shane is the most amazing person I have ever met, and the day he came into my life I knew it would never be the same. I didn't have a chance against his charm and I fell in love with the man who I can not wait to spend the rest of my life with. I could not imagine a better fiance.

Dress is bought!

After much searching I have finally found the perfect dress, it is bought!!! It is very exciting knowing my dress will be here in 3-4 months...I'm feeling more and more like a bride :) Before meeting Shane I would have thought myself the type to be very particular about wedding plans. I have always liked to be in total control of things, especially plans. Although, after seeing Shane for the first time it became clear to me the only thing I care about...him. All the wedding planning is sure fun but the wedding "things" are surprisingly not something I'm picky about...I have already found ALL that I have ever wanted (Shane). All the rest will be perfect just because I'm marrying my best friend and love of my life.

I can't believe my little brother is sixteen! We are seven years apart and I still picture the adorable little baby he used to be every time I look at him. Now, this little/big brother (I say this because he is just short of being 6'2) is driving...scary thought. James, you have a heart of gold. You have everything going for you, your whole life ahead of you, and you deserve the very best.
